My heart is broken
My mind is confused
My eyes are crying
My hands are writing
this ever so confusing poem

She holds back
her tears
her real feelings
because don't want to be put out

She wants to be
heard but she
is told to shut up

She wants to chase
her dream
but nobody supports

She wants the right man
but always gets the jerks

She wants real friends
but always finds
people that are fake

She wants to breathe
her own air

She wants to not
sit on the sideline
She wants to be chosen first

She doesn't want
her friends to leave her

She doesn't want
the right man because
she is afraid

She doesn't want to be
chosen last

She doesn't want
to be the problem
She doesn't want
but always wants
