White MAG

By Anonymous

   White

Pure, flowing white
Like wind
Billowing about my frame,
My soul's cage.
Auburn locks dancing
About my face and neck.
I'm enveloped all in white.
Everywhere, all around
Is white -
The color of innocence
And purity.
Yet I am neither,
And don't belong
Blemishing this beautiful world
Covered all in white.
So I lay upon the treacherous rocks
Staring up into nothingness, sky.
I know I'm cold,
Yet I feel nothing.
Just numbness and
Perhaps something
Remotely resembling relief.
No fear,
No more hate,
Just nothing.
Not even the black sea.
Black - evil, wicked, deceitful.
Black - rushing darting,
Seeping up,
Engulfing some of the white
It disappears like
It had never existed -
Like I will - soon.
The black sea's cold fingertips
Tickle my willing toes,
And as it pulls
My white-clad body out to sea
My soul is free.
Nothing is left.
Just the pure, innocent beauty
Of this white, white world.
