The rain drips
And trickles
It falls to
The ground

The children
Were playing
Now none can
Be found

The sun once
Was shining,
Birds singing
A tune

But now clouds
That rolled in
Have replaced all
With gloom

No more will
I listen,
All but the
Rain drops

For now all
Is silent
As time al-
most stops

I wrote this for an english project and I was inpired to write about a rainy day because it was raining outside and there was just an erie essence in the air.
