A Little Glass Bowl MAG
There were pillars of coral
And a great, twisted eye that filled the ocean
Swim for miles and miles
A constant explorer,
I find a new castle to plunder around every
Bend of coral
Bend of coral,
A slight déjà vu
Three swiss cheese holes, tinged purple
A princess with a pink dress, pink dress
On a twin castle with triple turrets
A swish, swish
A bubble erupts from my heart-shaped lips
water plumes each operculum
and my gills are Spanish fans
there is one marble of food sitting
in my gut
a ration to keep me from igniting the
contents of a three-second existence,
a heartbeat of amnesia
a prison of glass is its own universe
it is endless, and the ocean sitting on this counter
is the same as the Atlantic or, even greater,
the Milky Way, squeezing like a serpent through
the antimatter
the moon's eternal maria, dust-blushed oceans
are, to me, just the same as
a liter of water in a bowl by the sink
