The Switch MAG

By Anonymous

   The man in the mirror,

he told me who I was.

Then I knocked on the door,

and was received with crossed fingers.

I stepped through the glass,

streaked with unknown drops.

I stepped halfway through,

and the man smiled.

He smiled like a shark,

and I stepped through.

I gaze now at my body,

sometimes.

It looks back at me.

As I stepped through,

he stepped out.

He has forgotten that I exist,

I, who set him free.

Now that man in the mirror,

that man is me.
