Not A Dream MAG
The pictures I visualize
Are so clear.
I see -- it seems -- a window.
On the other side
I see Joy, Laughter, and Happiness.
I want to reach in and be with them,
But the window is a barrier.
Then I turn and see Sadness
All alone.
He looks at me as though he sees through me.
I stand and do the same.
I feel very strange.
He doesn't belong with the rest.
I want to reach in, but the window is a barrier.
Everyone else has disappeared.
I am confused for I do not understand
What this dream means.
The picture is becoming a blur.
I wake to find that it wasn't all a dream.
I see Joy, Laughter, and Happiness are
No longer there.
Instead I find Sadness staring down next to me.
All because the window was a barrier.
