"And you are but a thought -- a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!" ~ Mark Twain

I went off today,
I went off on a hike,
So I picked up my boots,
And I got on my bike.

I got to the road,
And I left on the trail,
And hey, wouldn't you know?
Sir, it started to hail.

And there was a fight,
Between me and a bear,
And it beat me because, well,
It gave me a scare.

And I fell in a river,
And I fell on a tree,
So biking and hiking,
Mixed? They should not be.

I never really liked hiking. Everyone seems to do these poems about how lovely nature is, so I decided to go the other way.
