How can that be so?
little snails as finger nails,
And ugly spiders all in a row.

How does your hair flow?
Birds' nests and burrs infest,
And muddy frogs in a row.
Temper, temper, little Carry,
Why can that be so?
Red faces and long paces,
And fire steps wherever you go.
Carry, Carry, very witchy,
How can that be so?
Love potions and weird notions,
And eye of newt all in a row.
Carry, Carry, quite scary,
How did I ever know?
foul smells and dirty wells,
And ugly vermin wherever you go.
