Homelessness MAG

By Anonymous

   My home can be

everywhere

or nowhere.

My daily meals

consist

of anything or

nothing.

My knick-knacks

and baubles

are the clothes

I

wear.

My money

is

only what

others

give me.

I am a being.

I am human.

I am homeless.

If only people

could see

where I stand.

and

help me

through

this all.

Will this loneliness

ever end?

Will I begin

a

new life?

Does

anyone

care?

Because

I

am here.

I

am

real.

I

cannot

be ignored.

I am a person.

I am alive.

And...

I am homeless. n

I would rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.

This is amazing! It really hit home for me. I had been homeless with my older brother for 2 years couch surfing and worrying about where I would get my next meal. Keep writing I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Every time we learn something, we suffer a sense of loss.

I really really like this.  The beginning was my favorite, before the shift, but it was a good peice as a whole.  I especially like the repitition, it added alot.  Good job!

Umm. It's alright. A lot of metaphors or imagery would have helped but it's very thought-provoking. I like it.

Be not afraid of greatness. So are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.

Good I really enjoyed it.  It was simple but so very true.  Keep writing your style is really interesting and enjoyable to read.

Lovely. Totally and brutally honest. It's refreshing.
