School MAG
School is a place where we may fail,
Receiving warnings through the mail.
Even though we try our best,
Our future lies in one big test.
We read old books in English class,
About a grand ol' dame and a dainty lass.
Is there a point in learning history?
Finding clues from an ancient mystery?
Who cares if the log of ten is one,
We find pleasure in having fun!
And science is a waste of time,
Telephones work because of a dime!
So I ask, "Why do we go to school?"
"To get an education, you fool!"
The future lies in our hands,
Because the "21st Century" is in demand.

Great job! Really caught my attention. Your poem is amazing, but try to work on the flow of the words instead of forcing them. I love it so much, though!

this poem was okay - i think you should have a different title to grab peoples' attention because "School" sounds boring. the poem itself, however, was excellent! :)

OMG! As I was reading this poem it kept my attention the entire time. It never got boring. This is sooo true!!!

Not bad. I thought it would be dumb because of the rhyming, but it's pretty clever.
