Autumn's Ending
Autumn
The death of summer, a beginning of new life
a time to remember our sorrows and strife
Drink the cool life of streams
hide away in technicolor dreams
break a glass to reproduce shards
cycle yourself across thousands of yards
Sway the timbers
while so far from December
mosses turn gray as the sky
tears release themselves from God's eye
Love has faded with the fire
forced to swallow the blood of dreamland's choir
search until your heart implodes
forget the call of taunting roads
Crack the ground to touch its soul
feel yourself losing control
lifeblood pools at your feet
crackling embers beg a treat
Autumn
The beginning of the end
