Embers shadows cast
of fading memories past
Night spent by dying fire side
with wants and needs denied
Warmth illuminates the night
only to reveal a raging fight
No man no waman against each other
just the colliding thoughts of a passionate lover
The pain of loved scorned
in hopelessness adorned
nothing to be done
except to leave, to run
To sleep the lonely night away
tribute to the dying embers pay
