Flames
Bang!
The door slams shut.
I sit on my bed and sob.
More heated words flew out of my mouth,
and yours.
Why do we scream like this?
Why are we destroying this?
I don't want to turn your face red,
I don't want to watch my words shrink you.
But I am shrunken myself.
Flames surround us,
but later they die,
and we are left wondering,
why we did this again?
Poison words flow over us,
and I die a little inside.
