She can’t be in reality, her mind drifts
She becomes interested, and chases it
A fluffy rabbit will catch the eye more
Than a history lesson meant to bore
Her own world opens up with colors that are bright
Even shapes you wouldn’t see in normal right
A tea party, he is very, very late
Alice interferes, or perhaps it was fate
Runs into temptation, decisions to make
Keeping her guard up, real enemies act fake
Continues her journey, no way back to start
If not, off with her head said the Queen of Hearts.
