On graduation day our lives change.
A clean fresh start to a new life,
it may be exciting or nerve racking.

Thinking about how old memories, and friends,
all soon will fade away-

The fear of being on my own,
trying to take care of myself-
All soon will fade away.

Mom’s guidance will be a phone call away,
which may be harder than I know-
Trying to take care of myself.

Off to a new town with unfamiliar people,
building my intelligence to pursue my dreams,
which may be harder than I know.

So all I can do is hope for the best because
