You can't write a poem about peanut butter
For it would be too crunchy
Or too creamy
It would get stuck to the roof of your mouth
And you would have to drink milk to get rid of it
You can't write a poem about peanut butter
for it would make you allergic
You would need your Epi-Pen within reach
And the doctor on the line
You can't write a poem that would give you e. coli
Or that's called Peter Pan
Or Skippy
Or Jif
Choosy moms never choose to write a poem about peanut butter
