I've been counting every hour
That I haven't seen your face
You are now the cause
Of every tear I waste

I hide it with fake laughter
A lie in every smile
Every second I wonder why
It's been such a long while

The weeks go crawling by
I long to hold you close
I'm starving for your love
And withering like a rose

It seems like forever
Yet I guess I'll wait
For I'll always want you
And that shall be my fate

My head. . . sometimes when I'm tired ideas for poems or stories pop up and i write them down then fix them in the morning.
