Hot sun shinin
Off that eternal sea
‘nough to make you wish
You ain’t ever seen me
Daisies and lilies
Tulips bright and yellow
‘nough to make you wish
You ain’t never said hello
And do she love me too?
Strong waves pull you under
‘nough to make you wish
you ain’t never wondered
cuz love is like the sand
it is soft, yes it is sweet
but just when you got to leave
it always stuck to your feet
cuz love is like the ocean sky
full of birds and clouds
but its your turn to walk away
they follow you around
