The earth
That was in
The universe

In which
You were probably
Saving
For life

Forgive me
It was gray
So dull
And so weak

This started as an assignment for my Accelerated English 8 class. We have been writing and focussing more on death, that inspired me to write about killing the earth.

I love William Carlos Williams. You used his inspiration wisely! I really like the simple language and dark theme.
