The Falling Majesty
When I open the door my skin stands up in a shiver
My eyes open wide as I see the first snow falling from the sky
Nothing can describe the feeling when you first wake up and see the snow
To see the ground covered in its beautiful majesty
To see the inches grow slowly and slowly by little drops that seem to be made out of nothing
They are like art created with great care
They seem to last forever once they are there
HA! School is off for the day
Now we can relax and play
We bundle up in great layers and prepare for our journey outside
The snow if piled up in great heaps and the sleds are going to fly
But they just keep falling and falling from the sky
I lie in the snow and watch the trees sway back in forth
Dancing in the snow and praising its beauty
Snow is truly loved by everyone
