Perfection?
I want to take my fist and pound down these walls.
I want these legs to just run instead of cowardly crawl.
I want these eyes to look fierce and full of a power.
I want my heart to take the fears instead of cower.
I want to prove that I will give all the love in my heart.
In return, I want a love that won’t fall apart.
No, not everything is perfect and I don’t expect it to be.
Perfection is the word left out of my vocabulary.
