Verdant eyes of butterflies attracted to flames of lust
Silky toes from sleek-tipped crows caressed the cries of dust
Porcelain skin of China’s kin reflected the battle-torn sky
A musky spotlight flashed upon the forewarning maiden’s eye
The epitome of love,
A paradigm of lore,
Thin stalks of arms, cracks and crevices of countenance
Cackling laugh! Shattered the glass’ core
Dew-dripped air devoured her
Seasoned spinster! And she stayed no more
