and he thinks he heard the woman tell him to punch the wall but he knows the pain would not be worth it because the boy told him to run the same block until the stars come out and tell him to stop listening to things that make him upset with his friend with the medicine never really helps day after day it never stops but he knows not to listen becuase he knows that means going to the room with the white and the lights and the quiet is never quiet when the the shouting and the crying and the whispering never ceases to keep him awake with anguish from the itch in his brain too deep to reach with his bruised fingers.
