I sit alone in my room
Passing the time away
As I turn on the radio
A song begins to play
The lyrics familiar
The music upbeat
I cannot stop
From moving my feet
The magic of music
Sweeps me away
I know in my heart
It's here to stay
The notes seem to fill the room
And I'm sent into a trance
When that music starts a playin'
I don't even stand a chance
Whenever I'm down it picks me up
And carries me away
The magic of music is in my heart
And that's where it shall forever stay
