People say things
They don’t always mean
Sometimes it offends people
Other times it doesn’t

They judge each other
By what they wear
By who they sit by
And how they act

It all happens
In the lunch room
People separated
Into their groups

People want to fit in
So they sit with people
Who have the same interests
And enjoy the same things

If they feel like moving
To a different table
They don’t feel able
To be themselves

Things like this
Are hard to accept
But it is something
That is hard to undo

Once we are able
To fix our problem
We will one day
Be able to accept others
