Why So High?
Gas prices of today
Are the cause of people’s issues
That annoy and bother,
Until there are no more tissues.
They say they have too,
They say it’s going to benefit you,
The price of gas is way too high
For any of us to buy.
We complain and protest,
Throughout the Midwest,
Only to see the price of gas
To be three fifty three alas.
The moaning and groaning
Is not going to do any postponing
For the minds of the higher
Are not soon going to retire.
