More than one night
Secret glances, side to side
a fleeting thought--could you be mine?
hear your voice, you're out of sight
just know I'm ready for another night
Please--don't let go
i beg--hold on tight
because I know I'll need you
for more than one night
Told the way, but still I go
dreams are drifting to and fro
in my grasp, yet far away
dare we say what demons say?
I sense your laugh
i feel your way
but I never could dream
to do as they say
You capture me, and hold me tight
i'm following without a fight
lead me through these crowded rooms
mistakes we make becoming tombs
I can't let go,
my hands turning white
because I said I would need you
for more than one night
i thought I could have you
for more than one night
