Set alive but not free
I am set alive, but not free
I am my own loathed enemy
I am a desperate lover alone in the night
I am the one who fails to do things right
I am often the person that nobody sees,
Alone in my mind--not easy to please
I can drift into sorrow, escaping my tears
But as night comes again I am facing my fears
I'm overwhelmed, I'm in love
I'm mistaken and poor
I am used, I am hurt
But I am also much more
Despite all my battles--some proving me weak
I have come to realize that I have come to be me
