The Matador's Tango
The matador begins his dance
Two steps forward
Two steps back
One step left and one step right
Waves the cape back and forth
Hypnotizes the bull, makes him fall
One step left and one step right,
Stands still and starts to fight.
The matador races around the arena
Running, running, faster, faster
Lungs burning, chest heaving
He can’t continue this race.
The matador turns to face his death
Only to see the bull collapsed behind him
Dead from a heart attack.
During his last hoorah
The matador finishes his dance
One step forward
One step back
He won the match and that is that
