Writer's Block
I have a symptom called writer's block;
I assure you it's true.
So what should I write about;
What should I do?
Writing this poem
Has been a true pain.
I've been straining to pull
Each line form my brain.
But writing on,
Surely, I will.
No matter how often
My pen becomes still.
My hand is cramping up,
And this project may take days,
But when I get a score,
We'll see how it pays.
My patience is waning;
This assignments a chore,
and the day I recite it,
I'm sure I'll abhor.
I sigh of relief
Because now I am done,
And I wish I could say,
"Well, this has been fun!"
