White steals into all the corners
White steals into all the corners.
Snow settles on leaves far and near.
A sharp wind screams, breaks into daydreams;
It’s splitting all ears that can hear.
Only the falls don’t notice the noise,
Roaring thunder in every drop.
Follow them down, follow the sound,
And those split ears will pop.
Is it driving you crazy yet?
All this noise is turning you deaf.
You want an end, your mind to mend,
You wait for the silence of death.
