Accordion
play the accordion
and I'll watch as your fingers
sway across the cream colored keys
it's so beautiful, I close my eyes and
all I can hear are your lovely harmonies
being played like you've never stopped
you take me away from this four walled room
into the forest where violet flowers are dancing slowy
the green in the grass is rich and soothing
and the sky, I can't describe...it's beyond all the pictures in our heads.
for once let's just forget all the soil covered moments
and live in this gold that you've created.
play the accordion
and I'll watch as your fingers
sway across the cream colored keys
