"A thin layer of trust had formed in my mind, like a scab."

"I preferred albums to the more modern eight tracks. Albums came with sleeves which reminded me of clean underwear."
-Augusten Burroughs

Loud is the silence of the day,
Vacant is the air because there's nothing to say,
Taped are the mouths of those who take a stand,
we keep closed mouths like we're standing hand in hand.
Silent are we as our bonds hold strong,
Voices disapprove of our actions.
We are supposedly wrong so they speak,
in out silence but our silence reaches louder beyond belief,
for the weak,
the fallen,
those who are ready to break down ,
to those face of which upon we do not frown.
Kindness and unity is part of the dream,
the dream that injustice is now a crime to be deemed
as immoral and wrong but yet still we silence,
our voices and sigh the pledge.
A pledge that for a whole day,
there will be silence in hopes this silence will do away,
away with gay violence.

Live each day like it is the day you will be remembered.

Very powerful, DOS is one day a year I very much look forward to. It makes everyone around us think of what they're doing. Go LGBT! :DDDDD
