i can touch the moonlight

i can touch the moonlight
tonight
but does the moonlight
enjoy contact ?
not like these fluorescent lights.
they're loud.
they want to be heard and touched.
they're cheap and dirty.
the spotlight,
however,
wants only one to love.
it moves to fixate themself on only
one.
the desk light,
not the brightest but does it's job well.
it can hold its own in darkness but is quickly
beaten
by the fluorencent ones.
the moonlight-
yes.
the moonlight is my favorite light.
if i had to chose one light to see by,
it'd be yours.
