Always Something
There’s nothing left to wonder
Nothing left of fantasy
In this world of math and science
You can never even dream
There’s nothing left to ponder
Nothing left to solve
How can I think outside the box
With all these suffocating walls
There’s nothing left of theories
No more hypotheses
No more unexplained apples
Falling from the trees
There’s nothing left to work on
Nothing important to fine tune
We want everything right now
Or at the latest, very soon
There’s nothing to investigate
Nothing to explore
We’ve filled the edges of the map
And wiped out all folklore
There’s nothing left to do
That’s new and fresh and bold
But do what my heart desires
And not just what I’m told.
