As I walked inot the next stage of my life
As I walked inot the next stage of my life,
I felt terrified, belittled, and alone.
Everything surrounding me was overwhelming;
way too much to take in.
As I passed different faces through the unforgiving corridors,
it seemed as though I knew no one.
I reached my first destination, and felt a sense of relief.
In this place there was no vacancy, and was filled with people with the same feelings as I.
As the bell rung, I took a deep breath,
having survived the first impression of high school.
