When life gives you lemons make grape juice. Then sit back and watch everyone look at you in amazement. :)

Put back on the shelf, the teddy bear cried
Tears ran out of his cute button eyes
As he thought to himself, why must she go?
To leave us all behind?
Tears ran out of his cute button eyes.
As he watched her decide
To leave us all behind.
His gold fuzzy cheeks grew wet with grief
As he watched her decide
On dances and boyfriends and college and more
His gold fuzzy cheeks grew wet with grief
As she told him her dreams were resting
On dances and boyfriends and college and more
Her hair was short, the pink ribbons gone
As she told him her dreams were resting
Her sunshiny dreams, they left him behind
Her hair was short, the pink ribbons gone
As she picked him up, that old natty bear,
Her sunshiny dreams, they left him behind
As he thought to himself, why must she go?
She hugged him, and kissed him, the very last time.
Put back on the shelf, the teddy bear cried

I wrote this piece because I was feeling sad about growing up. I didn't want to, but I had to. So I wrote this poem. :)
