October
The cool breeze rustles the trees
Blowing away the inklings of a season
As the jolly redbird sings
It takes away our reason
Hues of red, orange, and yellow
Color the fields with lost hope
When we feel the breath of winter
We can only try to cope
As Halloween approaches
There is a sting in the air
So we hold on to October
For that feeling is so rare.
