What do you see me as?
A shard of glass?
A rubber spoon?
Do you see me suffused
With clear, pale light?
Or do you see me
Darkly, as if through
Water, muddied?
Do you see me as
I am reflected
In the mirror of reality
Or do you see me
As you want to see me?
Or, most terrifying,
Do you not see me. . .
At all?
