Leave Me Be
Tears Slide Down my cheeks.
My love, Won't you look at me,
As you sink into the darkness.
Oh leave me be, leave me be.
My heart broken in a thousand peices,
Scattering across hopes and dreams.
You left without a single trace,
Leaving tears flowing in your place.
So I moved on, running past memmories.
Leaving 'You and me' behind,
And I tried my very best to let go,
But you stay in the back of my mind.
The peices of my heart will never be whole,
And even my fake numbness can't block feelings.
Yet still, I feel my heart begin to mend,
And it's ever so painfully healing.
Slowly the peices set themselves together,
Still they are fragile to the slightest touch.
Remembring you is just too painful,
But to forget is would be too much.
Words press unto my crying lips.
My love, can't you hear me,
As you sink into the darkness.
Oh leave me be, leave me be.
