I Stand Alone
I sit in my deserted room,
Pondering all I used to have.
Friends who called…
Friends who stayed…
But now I stand alone.
A label given to me,
An unwanted one at that.
This unwanted thing,
Has made my life miserable,
Popular for all the wrong reasons,
But it’s not what you think.
The label is given by the looks,
Evil stares all around me,
those piercing hateful eyes,
Makes me want to ask,
Why am I the chosen one?
They tell me don’t you know,
You are the chosen one,
By all that matters most,
Those boys in your class,
Have labeled you the finest…
Please take it away I scream!
Don’t you know what you’ve done?
You’ve made me the most unpopular one,
the ONE WHO STANDS ALONE!
