Sonnet – Lust
Fake smiles, all alone, teardrops falling
Falling backwards, the darkness closing in
This sweet addiction that has been calling
I will finally run home to it than
These Everlasting Scars that run so deep
Your are the cause of all these crimson stains
Hurt in my heart I will forever keep
My heart screams, you are the cause of my pain
This deep obsession is a binding chain
These markings that I bear are like red rivers
I cannot let go of this trying pain
My heart is cold and my body shivers
I want to fly free forever one day
And have my tainted vision done away
