Lovely Lady
A lovely lady, with much to say
Never shows pain through day
Cries weeps, and wonders at night
But never shows pain in sight
Puts up with heartache and pain
From a man who shakes and slain
Her emotion and mind flare
But her man does nothing but stare
She’s alone weak, and weary
Because the things she wants aren’t so clearly
She tries pushes and pursuits
The happiness she had in her youth
As she age and grows
Everything she deserves never shows
I think as time goes by
She won’t live in a lie
