Classroom Confinement
I looked up at the bottom of the bottle
The hazy classroom lights visible through the plastic
With a pout I set the bottle down,
My last bit of relief from this humid hellhole drained dry
I glanced around, checking the clock
My listless gaze was longing for liveliness
My restless feet tapped out a steady beat
But was suddenly interrupted by that piercing sound
For whom the bell tolls!
It tolls for me
Class is over
I am free
