In All The Dark And Scary Places
In all the dark and scary places,
A monster lurks and hides,
It wears a smile on its face,
As its slithers and it slides.
It goes under your bed and over your head,
And makes these funny sounds,
Why do you think you hear clicking,
When no one is around?
It can be big, it can be small,
Its changing as we speak,
Could have long wings or whipping tail,
Or maybe orange beaks.
Those funny little scratches,
Cute tiny little beeps,
They all come from this monster,
Who’s changing as we speak.
He makes those scary shadows,
That push your heart beat fast,
That drop of sweat rolls down your neck,
You know you cannot last.
He has two vicious heads,
And whichever one you meet,
One chews on your arms,
While the other gets your feet.
He sleeps only in daytime,
For that is when he is weak,
Yes, that’s the weakness of this monster,
Who’s changing as we speak.
He has mighty claws to rip you,
To tear you into shreads,
A vicious smile to gloat upon,
Your terror and your dread.
And you might ask me how,
He came into creation,
It was, my friends, I fear,
From your own imagination.
Some say I’m only kidding,
That my story just gets thinner,
But it’s those very people,
That turn out to be his dinner.
So if you are that person,
Don’t ignore me as I say,
Please take head of my story,
Lest you become his prey.
