The Wing of Man
If humans could fly,
I'm sure we would die.
Never has there been a more common dream
In this vast world of dreamers.
If we achieved the largest impossibility,
There would be nothing more,
Nothing as thrilling,
To strive for.
And so,
If we sprouted feathered wings,
And took to the sky,
We all would die.
