Sun
Diving head-first into a pool of sunshine
Searching for a love that's not mine
Walking on clouds, looking for signs
Treading on all the borderlines
Looking through a mirror I can see right through
Knowing the truth, but not what to do
All the images flash through my mind
Staring blankly like a child left behind
Somehow at a loss for words
Fluttering lightly like the hearts of many birds
Wiping all the dirt and shadows away
Yet somehow most of the shadows still stay
Figures dancing around my head
All I want is for my love to spread
When I fall apart it proves
The way the world tilts and moves
I go to grasp it but it slips right through my fingers
And as I fall, the wish that you were falling with me still lingers
