The time we shared
Is precious to me
Your memory is still
Fresh in my mind
You were taken a year ago
But I feel like it was
Yesterday that I held your hand
You will forever be
My one and only
And I will never forget
The precious moments we shared
In another life I hope to meet you again
Maybe then you will stay with me
Through the good and the bad
On into old age and then we can
Leave the world as one.
