The fresh pine scent
The sweet aroma of cookies in the air
Tells you that it’s Christmas
The unwrapping of gifts
The childish laughter
The gathering of friends and family
Tells you that it’s Christmas
The snow tapping the window
The sounds of bells and carols
The city streets a-glow with lights
Tells you that it’s Christmas
And to me, the joy of giving
The pleasure of receiving
The boxes of chocolate
The gift of the Lord
Surrounded by loved ones
The mistletoe with that special someone
Tells me it’s Christmas
