How boring
To be stuck to the ground
To think in two dimensions
A prisoner to earth
To only see half of what should be seen
Everest from the side
Why stare up at mountains
If you could stare down
I'm a streak in the air
Diving, the wind screaming in my ears; the ground sprinting toward me
I spread my wings
You would have died;
Fallen into Earth’s gaping mouth
Because, you
You can’t fly.
